He worked as a mechanical engineer at Resodyn Corporation, 孤峰, MT, 2005年至2009年, where he developed models and control methodology for the sonic drilling process, developed lumped parameter mathematical models for the ResonantAcoustic® Mixers, and co-developed and verified a control scheme to find and track mechanical resonance of the ResonantAcoustic® Mixers. From 2009 to 2017 he served as a senior mechanical engineer at Resodyn Corporation, 孤峰, MT, and from 2011 to 2017 he was the Director of Technology and Processing for Resodyn Acoustic Mixers, 孤峰, MT. During his time at Resodyn Corporation, he was PI for $3.0M in Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grants. He then accepted a faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical 工程 in the General 工程 Department at Montana Tech, 孤峰, MT, in 2017 where he is currently an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical 工程 Department. He has worked in the field of Resonant Systems and Technology since 2005. His research interests include utilizing resonance in new applications and incorporating resonance in existing applications.

Dr. Lucon is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), 国际神经网络学会(INNS), 美国机械工程师学会(ASME), and American Society for 工程 Education (ASEE). 他是有执照的专业工程师(MT/15543). 他也是奥迪北美俱乐部的成员.
